Lahana’s bridge is located at Siteia, at Ekso Mouliana village, where two rivers meet. It is built at the beginning of the path to Rihti’s gorge which ends at its beautiful waterfalls.
The bridge with the beautiful architecture and the perfect construction was built in the 19th century and made it easier for residents to cross the rivers in times of floods. Later the bridge served the driving access to Siteia.
At Greece’s population exchange with Turkey, greek Christians gathered to the bridge and eliminated the Turkish residents of Ano Mouliana village when they tried to move to Siteia.
