Ethias forest is located almost 55 km from Heraklion to the homonymous village which is built at 740 m. height at Asfentilia hill.
The forest which is artificial is mostly composed of pine trees.
The visitors of Ethias forest can cross the path with the beautiful view that connects Ethia village with Ahentria mountain, while the most adventurous can cross the gorge of Ethia which requires technical equipment.
