Sissi is located 25 km from the town of Agios Nikolaos. It is a traditional village with about 1000 inhabitants.

The beaches of the area are mainly covered with rocks and the sea is not particularly calm, while the only one that the visitor can enjoy swimming is the one of harbor.

Sissi has taverns, bars and shops where you can enjoy your coffee, food and shopping during your stay. Additionally, the visitor should not miss the opportunity to spend some time in the monastery of Agios Georgios in Selinari, located just a few kilometers away, as well as the Minoan Palace of Malia.
