Psari Forada is located about 90 kilometers south of Heraklion on the south coast of the island. It was created by inhabitants of the village of Kalami so that they can control some crops and fishing during the summer as it is located by the sea.

In the area there are tomatoes, bananas and vegetables crops. Here live around 100 residents permanently. The beach of Psari Forada is very beautiful with crystal clear waters, dark sand and is well organized.
