The Kaminaki village is located 46 km away from Agios Nikolaos at Lasithi district and at 870m height.

Kaminaki is a beautiful village built in the green forests of Lasithi and which has almost 270 residents who are mainly farmers and producers of cheese. 

The village’s name is said to be inspired by the first’s resident chimney (Kaminaki=chimney) who had the name Faouro which means blacksmith in Latin.
