Gonies is a village in the area of Malivizi at the foothills of Psiloritis and with a population of 320 people.

The name Gonies (angle) is given to the village because of its location. More specifically the village is located between the hills of Poupa and Anemopirinos, at the foot of the Psiloritis mountain and on the Filiorimos mound.
