Close to Lygaria Beach, 20 km northwest of Heraklion, is located the church of Agia Marina.

The temple with the blue windows and the big pine trees surrounding it, was built in 1968 after a donation of the Papadopetraki family.

It is a small church with simple architecture that due to its location and its simplicity helps its visitors find their inner peace.
