The monastery “Agia Foteini the Samareitis”, which was built at 1991 by Archbishop Timotheos, is located at the seaside village Ellinoperamata at Malenizi, 14 km west of Heraklion.

At the monastery is located the church of Agia Foteini, the church of Agios Fanourios, the nuns’ rooms and the grave of Archbishop Timotheos.
