At the southwest side of the historic fortified island of Spinalonga or else Kalydon, is located a beautiful rocky beach with a long coastline.

The beach with crystal clear blue waters and the big tamarisk trees is right in front of the island’s castle and has a great view to the peninsula of Spinalonga.

The access to the island is through the boats that every day bring visitors from Elounda and Plaka, who want to meet the beauty and also learn about the history of Spinalonga.
