West of Keratokambos village on the southern coast of Heraklion is located Skouros beach. It is a large beach covered with sand and pebbles, where high alumni offer shade to swimmers.

The rocky formations along the beach give a wild beauty to the scenery, while "Skouros", the rock on the west side of the beach, gave its name to the beach.
