The beach of Parasfougario is located 20 km southwest of Heraklion between the two popular beaches of Lygaria and Agia Pelagia.

Parasfougario, which is not very popular, is a beautiful beach with green waters, sand and pebbles.

Access to this exotic place is only possible by swimming for almost half an hour from Lygaria, while the stairs that are visible from above are accessible only through the house that is built at the beach’s hillside.
