Marina Gouvon which is located 21 km east of Heraklion, is one of the beaches of Kato Gouves that is ideal for a quiet swim close to the city.

The beach has thin sand and shallow waters while also it is organized with umbrellas and sunbeds. The port that is built at the beach, protects it from the strong north winds of the island, so its waters are mainly calm.

Marina Gouvon is easily accessible by car through the seaside road that crosses Gouves.
