Ligaria beach is located 23 kilometers northwest of Heraklion, in an enclosed bay that provides protection from winds. It is a wonderful beach with turquoise waters and white thick sand.

It is an ideal choice for families and for those who seek to enjoy the sea and the sun in tranquility. Particular attention is needed when entering the sea, since on the first steps there is a stone slab that is slippery, but there are some places where the slab is cut and it facilitates entry into the water. The beach is quite organized with many tavernas, cafes and mini markets where you can find everything you need.
