The beach which is located at Vathianos Kampos area, below the Knossos Beach hotel, is almost 14 km away from Heraklion center.

It is a mainly rocky beach with beautiful waters, which right in front of the hotel has a large sandy area. Little artificial ports are shaped at its coastline that keeps its waters calm.

The beach is accessible by car through the old main road Agios Nikolaos – Heraklion.
