The beach of Bali is one of the most popular beaches in the prefecture of Rethymnon, 32 km away from the capital.
The sea is usually tranquil, making it suitable for family holidays. It consists of four bays that form beautiful sandy beaches with pebbles and green water. Also, you will find facilities for water sports, safe swimming through lifeguard observation, accommodation and food.
Livadi is the largest of the four beaches and is more exposed to winds than the rest. Its name comes from the plain that exists nearby. It is followed by Varkotopos, a closed bay in which a beautiful sandy organized beach is formed with shallow water providing all the necessary amenities. Going further north, you will come across Bali's fishing harbor across from which there is the third beach named Limani next to taverns and shops. The smallest of the four is the last beach called Karavostasis with the reputation of the most beautiful in the area.
Access to the beach is easy via the Rethymnon-Heraklion national road using private or public means of transportation.
