West of Heraklion center is located Amoudara Beach. It is a sandy beach that extends about 7 kilometers along the homonymous settlement.

It is well organized with many bars, restaurants and hotels meeting the needs of visitors. Especially the center of the beach is a place which is full of life with many entertainment options.
