Almιros Beach is perhaps the most famous beach of the city of Agios Nikolaos which takes its name from the river to the estuary of which it is formed. It is easily accessible even on foot as it is just 1.5 km away from the city center.

The beach is covered with sand and its shallow waters make it suitable for families with young children. It is well organized and there are also small shops where you can buy the necessary ones.
