A beach that combines sand, pebbles with rocks is that of Agios Andreas. This beach is the largest of Ierapetra and is located close to the church of Agia Fotini.

It is a beach located right next to the main road to Sitia as it is also very close to the center, so the visitor can find it relatively easily. Additionally there is the municipal beach as well as several hotels where visitor can stay comfortably and enjoy the sea.
