The Archaeological collection of Malevisi which is located in a specially adapted room at Gazi’s Municipality building hosts almost 500 findings and is open to the public since 2011.
The exhibits most of which are donated by the Metaxa family seem to be traced back to different areas of the Cretan ancient history.
More specifically the exhibition is separated into seven parts based on the origin of each exhibit. The parts are literature, ceramics, pottery, findings from the area of Municipality of Malevisi, metallic objects and ancient jewelry.
Visitors will have the opportunity to have a complete educational experience on Ancient Cretan culture.
